Checkout only in the directory structure

How can I check only the project directory structure (without any files) in the CVS repository? This can be useful, for example. know the structure itself and selectively check folders later. I may not like, say, the test cases folder, which may take up too much space on my local hard drive.

If you only want to know the structure, you can use cvs rls -R

which recursively displays the contents of the repository. In this output, you can filter the files and get the directory hierarchy.

Adding a useful thing might not be the solution you are looking for. :) TortoiseCVS can display structure without checking the files.
