Creating SQL Server 2008 Add-ins: Current Equivalent to sqlwb.exe

I am trying to create a simple add-in for SQL Server 2008; it will just pass the parameter from SQL 2008 to the console application.

Although add-ons are not specifically supported, according to these articles ( 1 , 2 ), this is possible in 2005, and I assume in 2008 as well. However, I fell almost to the first hurdle; I cannot find SQLWB.EXE (SQL WorkBench) in the expected location. I am assuming this file was replaced in 2008, but I cannot seem to provide an equivalent version.

Does anyone have any experience developing the 2008 add-ons? Any good resources?

And can anyone point out a 2008 replacement for SQLWB.EXE?
