ODETTE FTP (OFTP) for .NET or Delphi
I am trying to come up with a client proposal for an interface with a European car manufacturer. The standard interface for data file transfer (EDIFAC) is ODETTE-FTP (OFTP).
I am trying to find a native components solution similar to what is available for other FTP formats. After many googling, I was unable to find this solution. IP * Works adds BizTalk and there is an open source Java project - that's all I found.
Anyone have any good conclusions? Bringing my own OFTP solution from scratch will lead us to violate our client's time and cost constraints.

I am the one who developed an open source Java project for Odette FTP. ACCORD is a project currently being developed by Neociclo under the OW2 consortium focused on bringing a toolbox around OFTP connectivity, but so far we have a stable OFTP2 component library that is used around.
I would suggest that you look at the www.iKVM.net tools and try to prototype this kind of compatibility between Java and .Net. If you find it possible or successful in prototyping, we can help you create a component library according to your needs.
