Google translation API
I have a text that I would like to translate into Russian. The text has its own tags and has several tags <BR>
. API behaves strange with tags <BR>
. Are there any known issues with tags <BR>
? Is there a way to get around this or what is the best way to use Google JQuery tranlsation to translate text?

<SPAN STYLE="FONT: 7pt 'Times New Roman'"> </SPAN>
Drive this angle constraint between <STRONG>90 and 100 degrees</STRONG>
with an <STRONG>increment</STRONG> <STRONG>of 0.125 degrees.</STRONG>
</INPUTANSWER>
check this . Its jquery translate project. I used it before normal text, never tried markup, but quoted from their homepage.
It also reduces the number of requests by concatenating elements and does not send unnecessary html markup while still providing access to each element as it is translated.
If that doesn't work, you can always keep the original piece of the document and just go through it, translate the content and replace it. I'm sure this will work, since the API is fine in plain text.
