Windows program for reporting keystrokes

Problem: I am using Windows as the guest operating system in a virtual machine and a funky keyboard setup. I need a way to troubleshoot where the keyboard shortcuts are not working as expected.

Question: Does anyone know of a program that quickly and easily displays on the screen which keystroke windows think it appears whenever I press a key or key combination on an installed keyboard?
