Error displaying Usercontrol in C # Designer

I have created a usercontrol in C # Designer (ASP.NET). It works great (when I compile / run) and does not poke out any errors. I am using it in a GridView if it matters.

Sometimes when I am in the designer (for a page, not a control), it gives me a red border and tells me that it cannot render the custom control. Switching to the original view and then back to the constructor (which usually solves such problems) doesn't work, but closing and reopening VS (2008 Professional).

It's not a huge problem, but it's rather annoying. Any ideas on what might be going on here or what I can do about it?

Thanks.

I faced the same issue when I inherit a form or user control it seems like visual studio has problems with inheritance, especially deep inheritance

How would I just close the constructor and reopen it, does it work after that? I had problems like this if all member variables aren't initialized.

It looks like it happened that several users encountered the error but did not report it. As a result, Microsoft didn't fix it.

As a result, more users encounter the error but do not report it ...

If you have a reproducible bug, create a small sample that reliably reproduces it, then file a bug report at http://connect.microsoft.com/visualstudio/ .

Otherwise someone else will run into an error, ...
