ExtJs and Symfony - your experience
Not much like a question, but I'm going to start a project using Extjs (www.extjs.com) and Symfony (www.symfony-project.org).
I would like to know about your experience. That is, any obstacles you had to overcome, any technical triumphs. The practices you have implemented to make development with both platforms easier, plugins useful, changes you would change if you used them together again, etc.

When it comes to symfony, you are all alone. You pretty much start building everything yourself. If you were to do anything with jQuery you might hit some of the plugins out there already. Needless to say, ExtJS is not very user-friendly, so it will take longer. ExtJS is great, but you should avoid unless you intend to build a web app on the desktop, most likely with the development team! This is much more difficult, more than most projects need.
