How can I automatically register a user immediately after signing up with CakePHP?

I am using cakephp framework to build my application. I want that whenever a user logs in, it automatically logs in and shows a specific page. Please tell me how can I achieve this functionality? using xampp, with php 5.2 and mysql 5.0 on winXP.

Well it boils down to this:

  • When your user is registered, save his credentials
  • Call $ this-> Auth-> login ()
  • Redirect to your page
