How to execute UNION table in SubSonic

I have a query that does a UNION between two tables. I am trying to implement the same with SubSonic. I have two related questions:

  • What is SubSonic's syntax for doing merge.
  • How to rename a column. Assuming UNION would require matching column names between two tables

There is no UNION syntax in SubSonic. You can achieve something similar with the method shown here: http://forums.subsonicproject.com/forums/t/3684.aspx



The best solution I have found is to implement UNION inside a view and then make SubSonic generate a model for that view.
