How can I minimize my Windows Form application to the system taskbar?

My dream is to make a very good open source help desk application for companies to use for free.

My client program will run on every client computer, minimizing the taskbar itself. When the user clicks on the icon, it will open the Winform window.

I am using .NET 3.5; is there an easy way to minimize / maximize from the taskbar?

I am assuming you mean the system tray. (Small icons next to the clock)



Set the property ShowInTaskbar

to False, then create a component NotifyIcon

and show the form in the Click event.
