Query about overall library performance

I have a question about the performance difference (in terms of consumed cycles) between a static library and a shared library (windows-dll).

I have a static library for some code. I also have a dynamic library for the same code. I linked these two libraries to my application.

Will there be any performance difference (Cycles consumed, Cache hits / missed, etc.) if I profile the two libraries. (Grading conditions, parameters are the same for both libraries)

If so, what could be the reasons for the differences in the characteristics of the two?

Thanks.

Once the subroutines in the DLL have been cracked, there is no performance difference when calling them other than the optional CALL / RET.
