TypeLoadException when starting WCF

I am getting the following error long before I hit a breakpoint on Main ().

System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException: Could not load one or more of the requested types. Check out the LoaderExceptions Property for more information. at System.Reflection.Module._GetTypesInternal (StackCrawlMark & ​​stackMark) at System.Reflection.Assembly.GetTypes () at Microsoft.Tools.SvcHost.ServiceHostHelper.LoadServiceAssembly (String svcAssemblyPath)

There is speculation that this might be a configuration error, but I can't see it compared to a similar working example.

How can I get the LoaderExceptions property when this happens sooner?

Is there a chance that you have already installed the dll of this service in the GAC and changed the source code afterwards? If this is the case (as I experienced it myself), just delete the dll and rebuild your service to get it working again.
