How do I add a text box to the body of an email?

I am using asp.net and C #.

I have a requirement where I need to add one textbox to the body of an email. After registering a user, I need to send a welcome mail. I tried to add an input tag to the body of the email, but I can see on [] (two square brackets).

Can anyone tell me how to do this?

I wouldn't do that. As other people have said: At best, this is impossible.

Think of the wide variety of email clients nowadays, and the spam community is actively trying to break hell on your computer every day. Basic HTML is allowed via email, images (if not embedded) are blocked, Javascript is not allowed.

For yourself, try overriding this requirement for webpage input with a link in your welcome email. If you keep looking for a solution, you will end up pulling your hair.

Guess it's impossible.

AFAIK, the HTML email is displayed by the client using a parser rather than a fully functional web client. So I don't know any email clients that will allow you to do this.
