How do I write a normal tilde (~) in C #?

Question

If I add Tilde ("~") to the text property of the label, the label does not display it, the upper tilde is displayed instead.

How do I write a regular tilde like in patches ("~")?

If you don't need a fixed-width font try Unicode U223C ~ TILDE OPERATOR rather than U007E ~ TILDE

Isn't this a font issue? Install the font on Courier New

and check ...
