Custom UIPickerView

Hi fellow developers, I am trying to enable a UIPickerView that looks like the one shown in the Oanda Currency Coverter because I find it nice and neat. See image below.

I've read several tutorials / examples, including Apple's UICatalog, but doesn't seem to show us how:

• reduce the number of lines displayed (Oanda only shows 3 lines)
• change the border color (Oanda shows black and I've seen developers use UIImage to hide the edges of the UIPickerView).
• change the selected line overlay color (Oanda is light green).
• resize collector

Thanks for any help with the sample code.
