Response.Output.Write

lets you format the string before outputting it, Response.Write

just writes it as is.

Response.Write

will output exactly what you are passing through.

Response.Output

exposes the base one TextWriter

, so it Response.Output.Write

has many more overloads, some of which have functionality String.Format

.

There is no difference. Response.Write

is a convenient accessory for Response.Output.Write

.

You could find out for yourself if you installed reflector and viewed the class HttpResponse

(in assembly System.Web

).
