Display image as popup

I need to display data in table format on top of UIWebView as modal. Mostly UIAlertView. However I need to display tabular data in this modal which UIAlertView cannot do (which I know). I'm going to create an image with text data in it and display the image in a UIImageView or a UIView that can have a button to close. Not sure if all this can become modal.

I see that the view can be added as a sub-title to the UIAlertView: http://blogs.oreilly.com/iphone/2008/03/open-iphone-sdk-building-a-uip.html . Not sure if Apple will go for it though.

Are these approaches appropriate, or is there a better way?

there is a very easy way to add table and uiwebview to view. set data source and table delegate. and show the data. or if you want something else ... show a picture or explain in more detail.
