Calling GWT and MVC
I have a GWT application that, when launched, takes you to a page using the entire menu. So, as a shortcut type I would like users to be able to go directly to the page they want. So if x is the default start page, it should be able to say x / add and this will take them to the add page. How do I get this in gwt? Do I need a bunch of different entry points?

To do this, you must use the "snippet" url that is the part after the #. For example, if your app is at / x, you can display a different UI when someone navigates to / x # add
If you don't want to write this logic yourself, you should look into the gwt-presenter project , which was written to make the MVP Application easier, but also includes EventBus
(to publish events to all corners of your application) and PlaceManager to facilitate events triggered when a fragment changes ( and changing the snippet as desired).

Seems like we've already talked about, so I'll just link to a related question. See answers and comments there. Basically, it would be helpful to just interact directly with the History class instead of injecting the MVP into your project, but YMMV (I'm a huge fan of MVP myself, but that's not for everyone. Also, I like to know the stuff "under the hood ";))
