Workflow triggered by difference between modified and current dates - SharePoint
Good morning,
I am using SharePoint Designer 2007 to create a workflow for a MOSS site I created.
I want the workflow to send an email if the document in the library hasn't been modified in the last 30 days (and this status field is not set to Closed), but I'm stumped on how I can do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You can try using the Pause for Duration action (under Basic Actions when adding an action to an SPD workflow).
However, I was working on something that had a similar requirement and we decided that the workflow was not the best option. We have a console application that is scheduled to run every day and asks for a list of "old" items. If it finds any old items, it will send an email to the user.
