ASP.Net error "Unable to start program http: // localhost: 123 / myapp /"

Well, since I installed IE 8, I am getting this error, so I cannot debug my asp.net page :(

"Unable to start program http: // localhost: 123 / myapp / " Could not find item (or something like this translated from swe)

What should I do to get rid of this error? and IE more or less freezes after that, the window responds, but it only loads half of its components ...

Edit: Is there a way to set which browser to use when debugging before I installed IE8, I was using normal opera and it worked like I wanted it to ...

I think IE 8 is not installed correctly. Try setting another browser as your default browser. if you don't get this error then you need to reinstall ie 8 again

Hi all these types of users, I have resolved this error, so you should also try this as shown below:

This is one of the various errors that comes up while debugging and can haunt you until you do the following fix: -

  • In Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, select Internet Options.

  • Click on the Security tab.

  • Click "Internet" (the "Globe" icon is actually selected by default).

  • Click on "Custom Level" at the bottom.

  • Scroll down the page to find the User Authentication section.

  • Select "Auto login with current username and password". OR anonymous login.

  • Click "Ok" twice to exit.

Restart IE. (You don't need to reinstall your browser.)
