Flash inside a dragged div

I have a flash video player sitting inside a div container. This is done draggable using javascript. I don't want it to be drag sensitive when the mouse is on the flash part. It should only be dragged when the mouse is on the remaining div container. The expected behavior happens on Linux. However, on Windows, the mouse cursor makes it draggable as well. How can I avoid this. Thanks in advance:)

I'm not sure if you have control over this behavior. If there is no immediate solution, the alternative would be to create a drag handle for the container div. This way you move the entire div by dragging the handle and only the handle is drag-sensitive (as with most Windows Forms, you can move the entire window by dragging its title).

Once your mouse enters the flash rectangle it can manipulate the contents of the flash and you lose all control over html, javascript or not.

I believe it works like a paddling pool on wheels. Try pushing through the kiddie pool by moving the water and all you have are wet hands.

It might be possible to add a "handle" to the outside of the flash content, which then moves the flash content around as you drag and drop.
