UIPicker not responding

UIPicker checks if responds perfectly to Iphone simulator with SDK 2.2, but now I am testing new simulator version and deflections are not working. I went through the documentation and I don't see any changes in the API. So I got scared that something was wrong and SDK 2.2 lets me get away with it.

Picker uses custom views to display the image and text next to it. The Picker will correctly change position when you make one tap on the Picker line. But if you try to carry it, it doesn't respond (sometimes it moves a few millimeters). I thought the custom view for each row prevents the collector from detecting the swipes, so I added self.userInteractionEnabled = NO in the custom view, but that doesn't make any difference.
