Trace in C #

exact duplicate:
How to add Trace () to every method call in C #?

Hi I like doing tracing in my C # code. I don't like adding instructions to every method to do this. Is there a way to use a method to track when the rest of the application's methods are run at runtime.

Thank P.Gopalakrishnan.

If you are using VS 2005 (and maybe 2008 and maybe 2003) you can simply add a tracepoint, similar to how you add breakpoints. Then you can determine what result you want when this method / line of code hits. It will only output these traces in VS, but that might be a good way to start.

If you have this for you, the Profiler in Visual Studio will keep track of method calls and provide a call tree, etc.
