ActiveScaffold for PHP
Ruby on Rails has a bunch of plugins that extend regular forests:
Does the PHP community have something similar? phpmyadmin is great, but it has no way to control the presentation of the data. You always get all the data in presentation format. These Rails frameworks are a little more convenient.
Edit: My original question was not very clear. I don't want to compare PHP and Rails. I am also not looking for a universal general structure. I'm looking for something like the four pieces of software listed above but written in PHP. The admin software above creates a crud interface for you based on your configuration. The configuration includes tables that you want to show, what operations you can do with the table, and who can see this information. The software does everything else, from writing the SQL to processing the query to create the interface.

I would look at Zend , CakePHP , CodeIgniter, or Kohana . See if they have an addon or plugin that can do this.
The problem with the four pieces of software that you listed is that they extend Rails. When you say "PHP", there is nothing to be spread in the same sense. (I really doubt you want a PHP module to do this.) You don't need a PHP addon, you need an addon [framework].
Any of the frameworks I or Jonathan lists are similar to Rails. Kohana in particular has an addon module called Auto Modeler that can do what you need.

It's important to highlight the difference between language and wireframe here. PHP itself is not a framework with modules. PHP is a language like C or Python.
There are several website frameworks that have been written in PHP. The most popular may be Drupal , although there are a few I've looked at over the last year that seem similar:
PhpMyAdmin is not a module or a framework. It is a standalone standalone web-based database administration application written in PHP. It will not be a component of any website presentation strategy.

Symfony may be a "generic framework", but it has forests that you can use as a complete application if your needs are simple. You define your model in a YML config file and then you can generate CRUD modules based on that model. Code generation is also customizable by editing other YML configuration files. All without writing PHP code. But if the need arises, you have the option to extend the scaffolding with PHP and the full framework.
See the Symfony docs for code generation .
A framework called ATK also requires good code: functionality ratio ("Application in 10 lines of code").
