Lotus Notes R5 Email Formula

I have a simple agent doing email forwarding to an alternate email address, unfortunately the formula I tried to save the object failed. the subject comes as the server it was sent to.

last code tried

"[" + @Implode (SendTo; ";") + "]" + Subject

I agree that it helps if you post some code, but I'll take it anyway. I am assuming what you mean is that the sender appears as the server it was sent to. This is regular mail when sending letters from agents. The agent runs on the server and uses the server context to send email.

The fix in R5, I believe, is to sign the agent with a different ID. You will need to ensure that this Notes ID has rights on this server to run agents and has at least developer rights for the database that contains the agent.

I am still using R6 and there is a field in the agent properties called "Run on Behalf Of" where you can select a user and run the agent in the context of that user. I can't remember if this is available in R5, but the trick above essentially gives the same result.

I think your problem could be avoided by setting the field to the Principal

original sender.

Is there a reason why you are developing your own agent instead of using the built-in functions ("Forwarding Address" in the Domino Directory) or "Mail Rules" in the mailbox?
