Mootools won't load fast enough in IE6
A very random and annoying problem with IE6. We keep our shared JS files on the resource server, so we only need to update them in one place. In addition to our custom classes, we also store our mootools assembly and more on a resource server and link to it at the start of our sites.
This is good in all browsers that accept IE6. In IE6, it doesn't seem to load the kernel fast enough from an external link before trying to parse the mootools code in the site.js. It will be wrong on the first line of "windows.addEvent".
If I put the mootools core in the folder where the site is fine though. Does anyone know why this could be done, and if so, while still keeping the files in the resource domain?
Thanks Tom

@neil. Yes exactly. I honestly didn't mean to be rude, but the first two answers were a waste of time and mine. Someone corrects a typo and someone else says they don't bother to support the browser, which still has 9% market share, is pretty brilliant.
@Dimitar Thanks for your answer. I can't change the event to load unless you mean in native JS, because no mootools will work. I don't like mixing native JS when I use the framework, if I can help it. Never heard of "snooze" but I'll try it. Thanks for your help.

IE6 is probably pipelines, loading as an additional host gives it the ability to do this in parallel.
maybe you can either try adding defer = 'defer' for IE6 for your piece of code that relies on mootools, or change the event from domready to load instead (also for IE) (I usually use the latter)
