Logging MySQL queries to the Syslog-ng server

Is it possible to log requests to a central syslog-ng server? The mysql query logs need to be present on the existing centralized log server.

I have this configuration for a syslog-ng client:

source s_mysql_instance_1 {
        pipe("mysqld-1.error.log" log_prefix("mysqlsrv-instance_1"));
        unix-stream ("/dev/log");
        internal();
};

source s_mysql_instance_2 {
        pipe("mysqld-2.error.log" log_prefix("mysqlsrv-instance_2"));
        unix-stream ("/dev/log");
        internal();
};

This answer did not solve the problem. The log appears on the syslog-ng server for several hours and stops without any error on the client or server.

It might be the wrong timeout setting in the syslog-ng client or server, but I couldn't find anything :(
