PowerPoint slideshow slideshow feature available via Interop from C #

I am currently trying to write an addin for PowerPoint where whenever any PowerPoint document is opened and then started in play mode, the speech and slide recording feature is automatically activated.

However, I cannot find this option in the PowerPoint Interaction Object

Powerpoint 2007 guidance for using this feature is located on the Slide Show tab of the ribbon called Record Recording.

I found under this that I can set to Microsoft.Office.Interop.PowerPoint.SlideShowSettings.AdvancedSettings for RehearseNewTimings, but that doesn't record narration audio.

Does anyone know if this is possible? Or if I'm completely wrong here.

Thanks in advance for any answer

Can you record a macro for this write operation to do the same?

As I will cover in my blog, Tribal Knowledge: Working with Office Interops , one way to guess the inner workings of any office document and how to manage it through interops is to record a macro of the required process. After you study the vba code, it will show the configuration changes and other elements of interest that can pave the way through tribal interception knowledge. Most of the object calls are the same under the covers ... good luck.

Otherwise, if you try this question in the Office Discussions Development or Automation Discussions forums which are good for interoperability issues.
