How do I select the rest of a word in an incremental search in Eclipse?
When in incremental search mode in Eclipse is there a way to select the rest of the word?
For example, suppose I want to search for the word "handleReservationGranted". I type Ctrl+ Fto enter incremental search mode and start typing the letters "han". Now, suppose I found the start of "handleReservationGranted". In my search box, I have "han", but now I would like to be able to select the rest of the word so that the search box contains "handleReservationGranted" instead of "han".
In Xemacs I can type Ctrl+ S, type "han" and then type Ctrl+ W. Now my search term is "handleReservationGranted" and not "han". So now if I press Ctrl+ S, I find the next occurrence of "handleReservationGranted".
I often prefer to incrementally search the search dialog because the search dialog takes up too much space on my screen, and most of it is annoying, often hiding the matches it finds. I am using Eclipse Galileo (3.5.2).
CtrlThe + Shift+ Lgives me a list of possible shortcuts in a given context, but none of them fit what I'm looking for.

Instead of using Ctrl+, Fyou can use Ctrl+ J(no dialog is displayed).
Then you start typing a word, and when you find it, you will have the original text selected. Now you only need to do Ctrl+ Shift+ →to select the rest of the word.
With the word selected, if you press Ctrl+ K, it will search for the next message ( Ctrl+ Shift+ Kprevious).
Note. I'm using Eclipse 3.4, but I suppose it works the same in 3.5. If it is not, you can click Ctrl+ Shift+ Lin the editor window (not in the search dialog) and search for "Incremental Find".
