ReportViewer 2008 switches to different page sizes

My deployed application uses ReportViewer (CLR 3.5) to print local reports.

Users have noticed a printing problem recently. I researched this and found out that in some PC reportViewer set the page format to Letter (instead of A4), why clippings are printed.

Note that all users are using the same web-deployed version with the same ReportViewer DLL. RDLCs are correctly set to A4 ...

Any advice on how to enforce the same standard (across all A4 app instances), and on what the format was created for?

It turned out to be not just a printer / driver issue.

Finally fixed by setting default print layout

The page size for print and display is saved in the RDL file, so if only some clients print at the wrong size, I suspect their printer settings are wrong.

Is the default printer A4? If possible, does the page size change when exporting to pdf?
