I have 2 lists with images. i want to hide the image of the first list when i use this image in the second list

I have 2 lists with images. I want to hide the image of the first list when I use this image in the second list. and also i want to know that i have added the image to the second list. The second image in the list should display the number of images (on the image itself) there are no images that have been added. Any suggestions..
