How long does it take to start coding with symfony?

Question

I wonder how long it will take to master Symfony and use it for coding?

I already know mvc + oop and used CodeIgniter for code before.

We talk about days, weeks or months, giving me 8-12 hours a day to find out.

Days since you already know MVC, OOP and CodeIgniter.

But wasting more time in SO won't help;)

If you already know MVC and OOP, this shouldn't be too difficult.

I would say that:

In a couple of days, you should be able to do simple things.
In a couple of weeks, you should be a good symfony developer.
And after a couple of months (after you probably finish your first project), you can become an "expert" who really knows how to harness the power of symfony.

But note that this is probably not the case for symfony: I would say the same for other frameworks like Zend Framework.
