Grid ComponentArt OnKeyPress Reset

Is there a way to reset on a key press to press the search value and specify via code (C #)?

The ComponentArt (CA) grid is used to select a record from the database to update. I need to reset the search state when the update process is complete.

For some reason, the search / filter key press remains after re-linking the CA mesh. I had to manually remove / remove text from the search box in order to access all records through the CA grid.
