Oracle compiles sql view

As part of our ANT based deployments we are running multiple sql against Oracle database.

If an error occurs sql

for deployments set to fail. (We do this with help WHENEVER SQLERROR EXIT FAILURE ROLLBACK

in our SQL files and using ANT command exec

with failonerror=true

to run sql).

We would like to add some sql to our deploying sql files that will compile (or recompile) certain views and refuse to deploy if compilation fails. Does anyone know sql (or something else) that will allow us to do this?
