Problem with displaying text area in IE7 browser

Our application has a text area with a line size of 20. Previously, when we used IE6 browser, the text area displayed correctly on the screen, but after switching IE7 browser, we saw that after filling 20 lines, the active scrollbar starts to display with the text area and only 19 lines are displayed in the text area and 1 line is hidden in the scroll bar and to check that 1 line we have to use the scroll bar. Note that the line size of the text area is 20, which means it should display 20 lines without an active scrollbar, which happens in IE6 browser but does not happen in IE7.

We don't know if anyone else has encountered such a problem before.

Guys .. Now we've done some workaround by using bottom padding on the text area ..... by doing this, all content is laid out correctly in the text areas, but still the active scrollbar remains with the area text.

let us know if you have any other solution.

Do you have a CSS rule that sets the physical height textarea

?

You can try applying CSS Overflow property for the text area. Try overflow: auto; or overflow: hidden ;. The latter, however, will eliminate all scrollbars. You can also try changing the border width: thin;

I think you are using an overflow: scroll, make it like an overflow: auto.i checked it, it works!

Despite using row = "20", try using a fixed height for the text box. And don't forget to add a line-height. This will definitely solve this problem.
