Do GSM mobile phones have RFID chip by default?

I heard something funny the other day that I'm not sure what I believe, but at the same time I'm curious if I'm wrong.

I have heard that every GSM mobile phone has an RFID chip in them because the SIM card functions like an RFID chip. Is this true or false?

I don't see how this has to do with programming, but anyway.

The SIM does provide an "ID" for a wireless ("RF") device, however it does not provide RFID functionality under the generic definition of RFID. (SIM does not send ID via RF)
