Runtime running image issue in asp.net

I have an image that I added to the image folder in the app_data folder of my application. now the problem is that it shows the image at design time but it doesn't show at runtime. Now if the postback page now shows an image.

what's the problem with that.?

You shouldn't put images in the App_Data folder - it is for storing data not accessible via a URL.



Move the image out of that folder and it should work fine.

You have to check in the pre-postback html code that the image has a valid url. Are you not setting the url for the postback event handler only?
