This is called the title bar.

property to None.

To completely remove the title bar, you need to set the FormBorderStyle to "None" as directed by SLaks; however, you will lose all other form border properties. If you need something more customizable than this, I would recommend that you override the form's OnPaint method, but if you don't know what you are doing, then you will be in a world of resentment.
