Map Drive Letter Sharing In Parallels

because Parallels calls localhost as ".psf" I have problems with Visual Studio in Parallels (message "Invalid URI: hostname could not be passed" appears). I realized that somehow I needed to map the folder to a drive letter in Parallels. Can anyone please describe to me the exact steps how I could do this?

First, if you haven't already, you need to tell Parallels which OS X folder you want to share with Windows. To do this, go to the "Virtual Machine" menu and select "Configure ...". From there go to the Shared Folders section and add a new custom resource.

Return to Windows, open My Computer, and locate the button on the Map Network Drive toolbar. A dialog box appears allowing you to select a drive letter and path to the shared folder. It is easier to simply click the Browse button and navigate to a Share than to enter it manually.

Click the Finish button and everything should be installed.
