Is there a way to check if the iPhone has Click Keys enabled?

Can my app get the current keyboard setting status?

Or better yet, is there a way to disable keyboard clicks while my app is running?

This is a system user setting, so I'm pretty sure you won't be able to disable this app. From a user perspective, would it be a good experience to turn this off, even if you could? They expect clicks to appear as they type, so if they don't hear clicks even though they've explicitly enabled them, they might assume they're wrong.

You can turn off the click sounds of the UIPickerView. Undocumented, but pretty safe:

if ([myPickerView respondsToSelector:@selector(setSoundsEnabled:)])
    [myPickerView setValue:[NSNumber numberWithBool:NO] forKey:@"soundsEnabled"];
