Other users seem to lose AuthTicket when one user logs out
We have a .NET 2.0 web application running. One of our customers is experiencing an issue where when two different users log into an application on two different computers and one of them logs out, the other user seems to lose their AuthTicket (none of the content is displayed and the page just looks broken ). They must log out and log back in to continue using the app. As you can imagine, this is very frustrating for them and they want answers as soon as possible.
We recreated their settings in our lab and tried to reproduce the problem, but we cannot. In addition, this problem was noticed on other sites, but at some point it was "fixed", although no one can explain how to do it.
It seems to me something like a setup problem, especially when we can run the same version with the same hardware and don't see it. However, the tests and research I have done so far have yielded NOTHING. The only semi-useful information was to check if AppPools is configured to recycle if too much memory is being used or something.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Here is a web.config entry for authentication, if that helps:
<authentication mode="Forms">
<forms name=".EyeQCookie" loginUrl="Login.aspx" protection="All" timeout="30" path="/" slidingExpiration="true">
</forms>
</authentication>
