.net project installation problem

I am doing a setup project for my .net application (C #) and I want it to add some registry entries, but in some I need to write the installation folder, and in the other I want to store the full path to the main result of the application (.exe file)

How can i do this? there are some special variables or something like this that I can use (eg% app_path% \% app_exe_name% -d "% 1" ...)

I am using VS 2005 for a setup application and project

Have you tried using [TARGETDIR]. When adding a registry entry that must refer to a file path, you can use attributes such as [TARGETDIR]. For example, if you need to access the file test.exe, which was located in the application folder, then you would enter [TARGETDIR] test.exe.

Set the registry value to [TARGETDIR] or [TARGETDIR] AppName.exe
