Debugging my Maven2 plugin in Eclipse

I wrote a plugin for Maven2 in Eclipse.

How do I run a plugin in debug mode in Eclipse?

If possible, I would like to avoid remote debugging of an external process, and I would also like to avoid installing plugins in Eclipse.

Make sure the "workspace permission" is enabled for the project from which you are running the plugin, then right click on that project and select "Debug as -> Maven build ...
