What happened to Group, under Sort By, Stack by Column Context Menu in Windows 7 RC?

As a dev, I usually group the verbose view of my explorer by file type. Thus, all config files, assemblies, executables, etc. Grouped and ready to copy by simply clicking on its group header to select all related files.

In beta 7000 it would be possible to hold Ctrl and select many groups to select all related files.

IMO since RC build 7100 only the group that is clicked first selects all linked files and each subsequent click holding Ctrl in the new group has no effect (linked files in this group are not selected).

Is there any option I missed to get the behavior back - that it is possible to select group by, sort by, stack from the list column header context menu, as was the case in beta? - To be able to hold Ctrl and select as many groups as needed to select related files (for an instance copy operation)
