Sharepoint + ASP.NET Site - Meeting "Page error on one server side"

I have an ASP.NET website hosted in the _layouts folder on a SP2010 site.

One of the pages contains a server side form and works great until I try to set its master page to the Sharepoint master page (specifically the revised v4.master ) to ensure a consistent look and feel.

I posted the original content in tags <asp:content>

, but now it throws a "Page error on one server side" error. I know ASP.NET pages can only contain one form on the server side, but what steps can I use to stop Sharepoint from getting this error?

It turned out just remove the form tags in the ASP.NET pages as there is already a server side in v4.master itself.



The ASP.NET page will use the form inside the master page without complaint :)
