Network meaning is stateless and http is a protocol without statistics?
The meaning of the stateless:
It does not track configuration parameters, transaction information, or any other data for the next session. When a program is "stateless" (has no status) or when the system infrastructure prevents the program state from being saved, it cannot receive information about the last session in the next, such as user preferences or conditions that occurred during processing.
HTTP:
The HTTP communication protocol for web transactions is second to none. After the web page is delivered to the user, the connection will be closed. Countermeasures such as the use of cookies have been designed to maintain the state of the user navigating from page to page on the website.
OR it could be a simple web definition:
A protocol is stateless if there is no connection between subsequent pairs of requests and responses. The server can handle each request unambiguously and does not need to store session state for the client.

When you write a rich client application, you can save the state arbitrarily at your convenience. On the Internet, the client is not required to transmit any information that you can use to store persistent information, so your web server is potentially in a persistent state of amnesia. Every time your client asks for a different page, you can use hints or hints to get the same person to talk to you.
To simulate state, you must use cookies (or specific authentication mechanisms) in conjunction with server-side mechanisms to associate these cookies with actual data for each user. You also cannot reliably trust the cookie, so you have to make trade-offs to determine how secure the connection is. Also, the side effect is that you never know when the user has "finished" your session, so you cannot rely on return trips to do things like closing database connections. Basically, you have to make all the important interaction decisions on every request and then assume that the user never comes back.

One way to understand HTTP and shared state issues between client and server is to "spoof" data from the exchange of data between the web browser and the website.
This firefox plugin is just great for this.
You can see that by submitting a request from your browser, your client is only saying something about some basic set of parameters for your request.
This is not enough for the server to know what happened in the past (= state) on the client side.
Some of the ways to tell the browser some information about your state is by using cookies, this is just some information in the variables that are tied to your request, as you can also see with the tamperdata plugin.

Conditional and inactive are adjectives that describe whether a computer or computer program is designed to take notes and remember one or more previous events in a given sequence of interactions with a user, another computer or program, device, or other external element. Stateful means that a computer or program keeps track of the state of the interaction, usually setting values in the storage field intended for this purpose. Statelessness means that there are no records of previous interactions, and each interaction request must be processed solely based on the information that comes with it. Accounting for state and statelessness comes from using state as a set of conditions at a point in time. (Computers are inherently workable, therefore, these terms are used in the context of a specific set of interactions, not how computers work in general.)
The underlying protocol of the Internet, Internet Protocol (IP), is an example of stateless communication. Each package is completely relocatable without reference to any other package. When you request a web page from a website, the request travels in one or more packets, each independently of the other as far as the Internet Protocol program itself is concerned. (The upper layer transmission control protocol - TCP - binds packets to each other, but uses the information in the packet, not any external information to do so.) The term "connectionless" is also used to describe the communication in which the connection is made and for each message sent. IP connectionless as well as stateless.
The Web Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), the application layer above TCP / IP, is also stateless. Each request from a user for a web page or URL results in the requested pages being served, but without a Web (HTTP) server that later remembers the request. In other words, there is no continuous recording. Each message is discrete and is not associated with those that precede or follow. In order to maintain communication with state, the site developer must provide a special program that the server can invoke that can write and retrieve state information. Web browsers such as Netscape Explorer and Microsoft Internet Explorer provide an area in their subdirectories where state information can be stored and accessed. Scope and information, which web browsers and server applications place in this area are called cookies.
In formal protocol specifications, a state machine is an abstract description of how a state system works, describing the action that follows each possible state.
The Internet (including the World Wide Web) can be thought of as a stateless system or machine. Most computers, humans, and elephants are wealthy.
