PHP Disable ipv6

I seem to need to somehow disable IPv6 in my php pages, but I'm not sure how. I think I need to add --disable-ipv6 somewhere in my INI file ... it doesn't seem like the correct syntax.

I am trying to solve the following error: http://bugs.php.net/45519

Does anyone know where to put this?

This is an ancient error and I doubt it is causing anything in your case.
