Finding a PHP based product manager

I am looking to find a friendly PHP application for managing a collection of vintage tools collection. I cant find NEVER to just simply organize my collection. The closest I can find is a shopping basket, but that is not what he needs as he does not want to sell his collection. I don't have time to code this myself and he is thrilled because it is taking longer than I promised.

Any suggestions? I'm sure there is ANYTHING in there.

If it really is as easy as how you do it, why not just write a quick and dirty script to do it yourself?

Set up 1 table in MySQL with appropriate fields and a couple of PHP scripts to display and add / remove / update records?

Perhaps I could do it in an hour.

there are several options listed here . I once used the wordpress cart plugin. It wasn't that hard to deduce the prices and front end code. I recommend the latter.

If you are just trying to catalog tools, I would suggest Wordpress with the Image / Photo Gallery plugin with a LightBox popup to group them together if needed. Just use tags to add a description, and a grouping tag if needed to group tools together. This is probably not the solution you wanted, but it might just be what will work. I was thinking of display case instead of inventory :)
