Number of data records per crystal report page
First, you need to create a formula. Then paste it into the section Details
. for instance@VariableA
Inside your formula, put this:
Shared NumberVar PageofLastField;
If OnLastRecord then PageofLastField := PageNumber;
Suppress formula.
The formula checks if the record is the last one. If this is the last record, it stores the page number where the last record refers to the shared variable PageofLastField
.
Then in the Suppress formula of your header, enter this code:
Shared NumberVar PageofLastField;
PageofLastField := PageofLastField;
if pageofLastfield <> 0 and PageNumber > PageofLastField
THEN TRUE
ELSE FALSE

If you get it right that you are asking the question correctly, you should simply add a summary at the bottom of the page (perhaps a report footer) to count the item in the details section. For example, I just opened a report that I have and added a summary for counting the number of zip codes in the details section.

The screen you see below allows you to select the counter for the summary.

Then I went to the Expert section and put it in the X-2 box opposite the Suppress checkbox in the title section.

If Count ({Stores.ZipCode})> 50 Then True
This will suppress the header if my detail section contains more than 50 zip codes. In your case, if your score is 0, you will suppress. Is this what you were looking for?

Suppressing a header based on the result of a formula is easy. The hard part counts the number of part sections that appear on a specific page.
AFAIK that's just not possible without some kind of tricky formatting. For example, you can structure your report so that each page shows exactly 3 records at a time. Then, if your total post score is 4 (which is not divisible by 3), you know that your last page will contain exactly 1 post.
