Compress IIS 7
1 answer
Compression is always highly dependent on what you are compressing. For example, an HTML file will be much smaller than a JPEG file.
In addition, both the server and the web browser must support a compression method for this compression method to be used in HTTP transmission. gzip and deflate are the most common (see this page ). The compression ratio depends on which method is used as well as the actual compressed data.
